The Last Eight Weeks

The last eight weeks have been a whirlwind of baseball practices, games and uniform washing for the Oliver Family. Carson was super focused and loved pitching for the first time this season. Spencer was happy to FINALLY have his own uniform and team after watching Carson for the last 2 years. His love was base running, digging in the dirt and post game snacks. In his final at bat of the last game of season he had a solid hit off the pitching machine and earned himself a dollar. But the true MVP was Jamison who went to every single game, rain or shine. We bundled that kid up in boots and a ski hat, handed him a sack dinner and he happily tagged along to almost 30 games in 6 weeks. At 2 he knows a whole lot about baseball and can hit a wiffle ball pitched to him. With 3 boys we've got at least 15 more years of this to come!

The Help

Late nights, early mornings, puke fests, grocery store tantrums and a long list of other selfless acts as a parent. And suddenly one day you figure out that they can actually be helpful! Not just put your shoes away or clear your place helpful. I mean empty the dishwasher, pull weeds, clean the bathroom, mow the lawn, check chores off MY list kind of helpful. And that my friends is a good day!

Welcome

Welcome to our new blog home! A month ago our computer crashed, and then the internet was out for a week. And finally the death of the blog. But we're back, and I promise more sporadic posts and cute pictures of the boys. No need to be shy, come say hi every now and then!
